Welcome Brethren

The strength of any Lodge rests not in its walls or furnishings, but in the spirit of its members. This year, I have chosen the theme “Harmony in Brotherhood” as our guiding light. Harmony has always been the jewel of a well-governed Lodge, for without it, no labor can truly prosper.

In our rituals, we are reminded that Brotherly Love is the foundation upon which Masonry stands. When united in harmony, our work becomes more than duty — it becomes joy. Let us therefore strive, each in our own way, to promote peace, unity, and goodwill, that this Lodge may be a reflection of the beauty and order of the Craft itself.

But harmony is not only the responsibility of the brethren — it begins in the East. As your Master, I recognize that I too must change, grow, and adapt. Each year in the Chair is a new lesson in humility, patience, and understanding. If I expect harmony in the Lodge, then I must first seek harmony within myself, and let my actions reflect the values I ask each of you to uphold.

Together, with open hearts and willing hands, may we labor in harmony this year, so that our brotherhood endures in strength and beauty for generations to come.
